Tritan froze instantly and lay back for fear of injuring himself any further. "Oh great seasons, sorry marm, oh no, I wanna my ear back, love to listen, aye, hope I can keep it. Jus' continue an' nary a peep'll come outta me gizzard, jus' listen. When I say I'll be silent, I'll be silent, aye, keep my mouth all sewed up tight-like, 'ermetickerly or wotever it is."

Tritan compeletely stopped moving, but his ceaseless chatter continued. "Say, Rose, d'ye like cheese? I love the gouda style wid herbs an' stuff like that. 'Ave yer ever dreamed o' touchin' the moon? Me I 'ave countless times. I'd like spread me paws an' glide all smooth like an' reach up t'the moon, made o'cheese o' course, the gouda wid 'erbs that I like. D'ye like cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese?" Tritan looked up with happy, dibbun eyes, those starey types of eyes that look quite weird and entertaining for some reason.

Cheese? that keeps me up at night, even if I have it in the morning. The moon huh? I thought it was made of grapes.**

"Ooooh, grapes!" Tritan nodded knowingly. "I heard Joe Grape is going out with a potato!" Hew stopped and shook himself right. There must have been an allergic reaction to the datura or something. He was not feeling like himself.

*Looking at Tritans face he then takes his right paw and fast and with out warning he hits Tritan in the weak spot.* "That should make him quiet for a little bit." * He then takes the bowl and puts it up to the ear. He swishes it around and then rubs the water all over the ear.* "Allright think that should do." *He then pours the rest outside.*
OOC: I knocked him out.

"A smart medic. I made you consatrate on the pain of the hit rather then the needle that I put through your ear." *Snickers.* "He he he...."

**Aster cast a sharp glance over in Shawn's direction, though she was at the same time trying to repress a smile.** Shawn! **She quickly turned back to Rose.** Thanks, Rose. **The young healer took the mint infusion, checking the clarity as she held it up to one of the shafts of light that lanced through small rips in the side of the tent that served as windows. She smiled her appreciation at the other medic, then took the clean bandage and sprinkled some of the liquid lightly onto the gauze. Aster was not about to delve into Tritan's ear again; she would not take the risk of further disrupting the natural healing process and perhaps breaking another blood vessel. She folded the bandage neatly; this poultice would not consist of much antiseptic. Rather, Aster was looking for the wound to mend quickly. She placed a couple of fresh comfrey flowers onto the mortar, and dampened them with some sterile water from the jug that stood by the fireplace. The river mousemaiden began crushing flowers, continually sprinkling on a bit water to keep the moisture in the poultice that she was making. When she was finished with the base, she would need that moss that Shawn had. Aster made a mental note to ask him how to identify that moss.**

Tritan tried to look at his ear. "Needle?" Looking at the snickering Medic and Aster with an amused look on her face, he knew it was an old Medic's tricks. He had been had. Tritan fiddled with his claws to hide his embarrassment and poked his ear as if to confirm his deep fear. Yowch! he sucked his thumb. There was indeed a needle sticking out of his ear!

*Looking at Tritan then seeing Aster come over.* "Sorry ole Mate but I had to do that to him. I need to sow up this small area on his ear near the tip." * Starting to pull the needle through and making loops.* "It won't look to bad." *Looking up at Rose and Aster with a smile on.*

**Aster grinned, shaking her head. She completed the poultice, and quickly brought it over.** Shawn, once you're finished sewing up the tip of his ear, I'd like to get this poultice on. And don't take too long -- the datura will wear off soon. We don't exactly want Tritan to feel all of the pain, now do we? **A mischievous grin played acros the healer mousemaiden's face.**
OOC: Ick... sorry for the short post and delays. IRL's been hectic recently, starting high school and whatnot, so I'll be semi-active on this thread.

*Auburn had rose with the glorious sunrise that morning, taking her breakfast outside as she watched the sun¡¯s rays peak over the horizon. Soon afterwards, the mousemaid had slipped away like a brown shadow in the early morning, medic bag slung over her shoulders. After countless hours to searching through small crevices and hiking over jagged rocks, the maid returned from her expedition, quite satisfied with the results. She had managed to discover several springs of mint, yarrow, bronze green summer savory, and fresh thyme.
Auburn pats her bag, holding the precious results of her traipse. Entering the shadowy medic tent, she states, unable to see since her chestnut eyes had not yet adjusted to the change.* Auburn Anabella Silver reporting for duty!

OOC: Eek, I totally forgot about this thread! Sorry, guys. And sorry for the crappy post BIC, but I'm really out of time here.
Shawn -- Your RPing's good so far, but I'd really appreciate it if you put some more detail into your posts. Try to lengthen them somewhat with descriptions of the surroundings. Also, in RPing, you have to choose either asterisks or quotation marks -- you can't have them both.
Rose/Raiden -- I'm seeing too many one-liners and posts that are close to one-liners here. Perhaps you could add in some more action, some thoughts that run through your character's head. You can build up a long thought process in an amazingly short amount of time IC, and it adds character and depth to your post. You might want to type your post on a word processor, to correct grammar and spelling properly. In fact, that's how I write most of my longer posts.
Auburn -- Nice post! You might want to add in a thought or two, like how Auburn is feeling. Is she sleepy because she got up early in the morning? Or is she feeling refreshed from the walk? Otherwise, everything is fine!
Tritan -- Can you do a little more proper RPing, please? I've seen some of your other RP posts before, and they were great! Not saying that you have to put in as much time, but just try a little more in the details.
BIC: **Aster stifled an outburst of sunny laughter, covering it with a sharp frown.** Hmph. Hi, Auburn! Wow, you've got a lot of herbs there; thanks for getting them. I was beginning to run out of a few -- we have some new arrivals today. Could you replenish that jar of yarrow poultice over there? Right next to the elecampane and snakeroot. **The young mousemaiden gestured over to the back of the tent, where racks of dried herbs and jarred poultices lay, protected by the dark, dry surroundings. I really have to pull this place together someday. Someday... when Sapphire dares to set a footpaw in this place again.
The healer ran a paw through her messy forelocks in a futile attempt to straighten the fur. Ruefully, Aster recalled the last time her tidy twin had set foot in the healing tent. Aster had had a particularly bad day, and had been in the process of untangling herself from a fallen rack of drying roots. Sapphire had fled the disorganized scene, but Aster still longed for her twin's help. Suppressing a sigh, she turned to her otter patient and Shawn.** Tritan, Shawn, just stop arguing! Shawn, you help Auburn with the herbs. Rose, could you take over for Shawn? And Tritan, ignore the needle. **A smirk crept over Aster's snout; she could not resist adding on Sapphire's trademark comeback.** You must love the sound of your own voice... don'tcha?
