**Song looks shyly at all the creatures gathered. She hears Raiden's remark about being able to sing. She raisesa a paw quietly and steps into the room and into full sight.** I can sing. I would sing a duet with your instruement if you like Raiden.**

*Finnerator gets very excited and has a wide grin across her face* This is great! I had no idea there were so many musicians in Division 2. Hang on a sec, I'll get my 'ccordion. *The sea otter rises from her seat and trots off to the barracks. In a couple of minutes, she's back, now carrying an instrument case in paw. She places it on the ground, opens it, and pulls out a two row button accordion* So what did ye have in mind?

Ummmmm....... Do you know the tune to Squirrel in the Trees? **She looks shyly at Raiden and smiles softly. The shy squirrelmaiden looks at Finnerator and smiles shyly. She likes new people, but her personality was always like this. She scuffles her paws, embarresed. Her brown eyes shine with excitement at all the beasts asking her to sing. It suprises her, but makes her glad as well. She looks up again and taps her foot to get the beat of the song. She does a couple warm up excersies for her voice as she waits for an answer.**

*The sea otter plays a few notes from the tune that Songwind metioned* Aye, I do. *She sits back in her chair as she waits for the squirrel to warm up her voice. Finnerator looked around the mess hall and notices with a bit of humor that there were more preformers than audience in the room at that moment. The ottermaid then picks up on the beat that Songwind was tapping out and with a bit of an introduction, launched into the song*

**Song launches into her song. Her voice is a sweet soprano, and she has a strong voice, like the wind it rips from her throat into a sweet melody. **
Squirrels in the tree-tops, Squirrels in the trees, Swinging through the braches, hurtling through the leaves, Otters like the water, Mice like the ground, But squirrels tree tops!
**She smies at the mouse and otter. She breaths deeply as she catches her breath.** Anyone have a certain song they want? I know alot.

*An otter stumbled in, narrowly missing Laylark and a kind of flute tucked in his belt. A quick nautical salute preceded His untucking of flute.*
Heard ye beasts were 'avin' a singsong time. So I brought my seaflute 'long wid me. Ready to play!
*He gestured to his flute and blew dust off of it, and brushed some mould that had squeezed into some cracks.*
Ain't played this tweeter for a long time. I'm a little rusty, but the ole seapiper's good'n as new!

Tritan , having missed the start, waited until the next cue to start playing his seapiper. Both ionstruments harmonied perfectly in a melodious stream.

**Haveing warmed to the tune Raiden began singing the tune.**
Willows on the banks, leaves in the water, on the riverflow, wakes the soul...
On the river, the willows drag, hold the scilence, calms the soul...
The soul of the river, the heart of the stream, meet together in harmany, Where the willows on the banks are...
**Panting slightly Raiden finished the song, and put away the fiddle to bring out his lute.**

OOC: Raiden's a mouse. BIC: **At Raiden's apology, Laylark couldn't help but feel guilty. Before he could splutter out a response however, the otter rose and sat by said mouse. Now he was feeling genuinely rude.** Um, I, er, I didn't mean- **He was cut off as the creeping feeling of having someone behind him spread up his spine. He looked up over the back of his chair to see none other than Shadow-Risk, a fox he was well acquainted with. Ever so slowly, a grin spread across his muzzle, the same lopsided grin that often showed on his features.** H- hi. **He didn't know why, but all of a sudden, he felt awful embarrassed.** OOC: Oh how I wish I could RP animals blushing! ^^ ... But it wouldn't work through the fur... *pouts* BIC: **Risk blinked, smiled, and, without thinking about it, let a small giggle pass by her lips.** Hello. Uh, um.. **Scratching the back of her head nervously, the kind vixen stammered a little bit, searching desperately for something more to say.** Um. You wanna go get some tea.. An' maybe a pastry, er.. Something?

*Tritan advanced onto them, a roguish grin plastered on his whiskers. He shaped his paws like a heart and mouthed the words to Songwind and Raiden:*
Love is in the air!

**Song glances shyly at him. The pretty squirrelmaid smiles thinly at this remark. Thinking about how much she'd show him she starts to sing anew.** OhhhhhhhOOOHHHHHH! I know an otter one day, He met a maiden fair, He smiled at her quite rogueoushly, With a look of debonair, He winked at her quite boldly Until she said " Dear sir, I like your admiration, But this is my husband dear!"
**She pants slightly as she smiles a victorious grin at the otter.**

*Finnerator had joined in on the tune Willows on the Banks, mostly playing the melody of the speedy tune. The otter always liked playing those lively traditional songs that she knew so well*
*She saw Tritan mouth something, but being an absolute failure at lip-reading, Finnerator didn't catch the comment until Songwind started another song. The sea otter glanced over at Laylark and Shadow-Risk, then turned back to the group with a grin. She started to play an old favorite of hers, a quick little tune called Maggie in the Woods*

**Song recognizes the tune and starts to hum. She taps her footpaw to try not to sing to it. Finally she gives in and bursts out in a sweet song.** Oh Maggie maggie, maggie in the woods, Skipping skiping skipping through the woods, laughing, laughing, laughing all the way, Maggie, maggie, maggie's there all day!
**Song trilled the last note, her angelic soprano soaring and echoing of the ceiling and walls. Looking around at the assembled beasts she smiles shyly. ** Anybeast know were I can get a drink? Otherwise, I'll sing no more.
