OOC: Okay. Well, I'm going to close this down now. It hasn't been used in forever, and needs to be restarted. I'll start a new Singing Brook in a couple of days (if all goes as planned). Brooky will keep her position as a server. However, I would like everyone else to reapplicate if they wish to. OOC: That was on the 14th of last month. So,I decided to set it up for you, if you dont' mind. And it's Elena ya shortie! BIC:* Elena entered the Singing Brook. It had been closed for around a month now,and out of almost impatience, she decided to fix it up. A layer of dust covered the counter of the bar, and a few of the tables. But, she would soon fix that. An hour or so later, she opened the door, sweeping out the last of the dust. Inside was almost sparkling from the light of the lanterns hanging from the ceiling, and as she shut the door, the mousemaid felt a bit proud of her work. But, she wasn't done yet. She grabbed a small paintbrush the size of a calligraphy pen( one of them thin bristled brushes,ye ken?),some ink, and a large piece fo parchment. On it she wrote "Open". Elena sighed. Once it all dried she would stick it in the window and people will know that they were back open. The Singing Brook is back in buisness.* OOC: Just enter, who cares if the sign is dry.

**The door clattered open as Raiden, Zhai and Horus entered. The latter ducking so he didn't catch his scythe on the door frame.**
You really need to stop carrying that down your tunic, one of these days you'll end up hanging yourself with it Horus.
I've been meaning to... I just forget.
Just like I forget what we had for breakfast... Wait a minute... Zahi, what did we have for breakfast this morning?
... What do we have every winter dear?
I forgot...
**Slaps her face with her paw.**
You really are forgetfull... IT WAS HEATED WHEAT EARS GLAZED IN HONEY!! You idiot...

Taundor opened the tavern door and managed to take a few steps in before being jerked back out. "Stupid thing," he muttered jokingly, and twisted his back to the side. Taundor saw Raiden and company, and grinned merrily. "How's life?" He slid a chair back, and before sitting in it, removed his glaive. "You should really find a better way to carry that weapon, Horus. I carry mine in a special sheath, It hangs down my back, but diagonally. As you just saw, it can be a pain."

Like my claymore, which I left in my dorm room.
**In fact Raiden was compleately unarmoured or armed. His head fur was neatly combed and set flat against his head, the length at the back tied up out the way. He was wearing a winter tunic; white with a ruffley trim. Out of his entire group, only Horus was armed. Even then with only his scythe.**
That's what Raiden told me. I haven't the tools to make a case for it. I make weapons, not cases.
**Horus gave Taundor a slight nod and smile. He liked the company of the black wolf. It off-set his own grey colour, and gave him a fellow pole-arms beast to chat with.**

OOC Lol nice post Raiden. ;D
Rowan and Jamie stroll nonchalantly up to the Singing Brook tavern, arms around each other. Rowan is clothed in one of his only special shirts, a dusty royal blue with black pants, his snakeskin belt, leather boots and leather traveling gloves. Jamie is wearing her basic black skirt with a light pink shirt, fish scale boots and the pendant of an otter head around her neck. Her sabre is strapped to her back while Rowan's long sword dangles from his side. Rowan opens the door with his free paw and they enter the tavern. Beasts chat wildly, grinning and laughing while a fire blazes merrily in the corner. Rowan and Jamie walk up to the bar and they sit down on the oak stools.
Jamie turns around and smiles shyly at the beasts present. "Hey Raiden, Zahi, Horus, and Taundor. How are you doing this fine, crisp afternoon?"

Taundor motioned to the rest of the chairs. "Even a piece of rope wrapped around your chest would work. It just looks ragged after a few trips. I don't even remember where I got my sheath from. Nice hair, Raiden, you're not deciding to stop being a deathseeker, right?" Taundor placed his paws on either side of his headfur, and stuck it up. It stood there for a second before falling down into its normal messy way. "Nope, doesn't work for me."

Nah, the oath's for life. Usually a very short life. I'm one of the eldest living Deathseekers. You use candle wax or even bees wax if you want to spike your head hur up into a creast.
**Raiden smiled at Toundor's attempt at makeing a creast as he sat down at the table. Zahi and Horus sat with him.**
If I find some rope, I'll try that. As it stands, I don't.

"Thanks for the tip. I'll try that later when I find some candle wax." Tipping his chair back so that it balanced on two legs, Taundor thought about his past. "Raiden, if you don't mind, would you tell me about your past? I'm curious. How did you become a Deathseeker? I've heard of them, but you're the first one I've seen. Probably because of the short lives. You too, Horus. How's you come to join the Guardians?"

Trust me. That is a tale best left for a dark day. I don't like speaking about it, it brings back painful memories of Zidane and Sunfire. Of my vile father; King Swifteyes II, of my missing mother; Rosefen. Yes... There are only a few Deathseekers that have lasted more than a year. I've been at it for seven years.
There ain't much story to mine. I'll tell you later though. A few beers gets me talking like a gushing spring.
**Horus gave a grin, a rather moronic grin for the semi-serious grey wolf.**

OOC: Interesting Raiden. One of my character is name Sunfire. Taundor laughed heartily. "Gets you talking like a gushing spring? We'll see if that's true." He got up and walked behind the bar. "Raiden, you've been back here before? I can't find the beer. Oh wait, never mind. I found it." Taundor came back with five mugs of frothy October Ale. "Sorry if this isn't what you want, Horus. It was all that I could find." He pushed the mugs to everyone, keeping one for himself, and two to Horus. Taundor sipped the ale appreciatively.

OOC: She's one of my alts on DAB, I was originally going to call her Starfire, but...
BIC: I like 'tober ale, 's nice.
**Horus toook one of the mugs and sipped it slowly. Drining it too fast always gave him a hangover.**
OOC: I havn't even worked out Horus's history yet, I'll work it tonigt. I doubt I can get on after I leave to go to my mom's flat. Bloody stepbrothers... **Backs imaginary heads off a spiky wall.**

* The sign was dry for a while now, but Elena never noticed as she was reading a book, again. Mary entered and looked around. She waved to Raiden ad Taundor, and sat down at their table.* Hi! *Elena's head popped up. She touched the "open "sign gingerly. It seemed to be dry. She put it up in the window and continued reading.*

**A small squirrel maid walked in, dressed in her usual attire of a vest/corset thingy, purple linen, big black belt and black leather boots. The maid smiled as she noticed her freinds. She was always glad to see Jamie and Zahi. Song had left her husband climbing trees. She hated trees. The maiden had a velvet cloak wrapped tightly around her shoulders smothering her bushy tail.** Hi!

Jamie turned around in her stool, a candied chestnut halfway to her mouth. She noticed Song standing there, so she dropped the chestnut in her mouth and left her husband to drinking his mug of Spiced Chocolate and reading his book. She walked over slowly, smiling appreciatively. "Hey Song!" Jamie points to the group consisting of Mary, Raiden, Horus, Zahi, and Taundor. "They're not that talkative right now."

**Song griined at her freind. She walked as quickly as a short squirrrellady can over to her.** Yes, I noticed.
