Taundor winced. "Oh, that's cold. But come on anyway." He sat down next to Zahi and whispered in her ear, "Are you going to give him a talk?" Taundor winked at her, and chose a small candied chestnut that was covered with honey and sugar. He popped it in his mouth, and crunched on it happily. "Candied chestnuts are probably the best thing in the world."

She looks around the Tavern at the various people gathered there, all of whom are new faces. She walks over to a table with some wolves and mice at it* Hello. My name is Tasna. I'm new to Guardians of Mossflower. May I sit here? *Tasna says, gesturing to an empty chair next to them*

*The ottermaiden had heard that the old Singing Brook had just been reopened. Looking forward to a warm drink and a good chat with friends, she had walked briskly to the tavern. The air was crisp with a definite feel of winter hanging on it. Knowing that the days would be getting much colder, Finnerator had dressed warmly, wearing a cloak over a tunic and a pair of pants*
*In short time, she arrived at the tavern. Without a moment's hesitation, the sea otter pushed open the door to feel the welcoming warm air. Finnerator stepped confidently into the large room and looked around at the crowd gathered there. She knew most of the beasts gathered there, most of them being from Dominus Nox. After hanging up her cloak by the door, the otter strode over to the table with Song and company, grabbing a chair on her way*
*Placing the chair next to Taundor she greeted the group* Ahoy there! How are things going? *Finnerator sat down in the chair she had brought over then leaned forward to take a candied chestnut from the jar* See, I knew I had a reason for coming here. *She says with a grin, popping the sweet nut into her mouth*

*Finnerator laughs at the antics of Raiden and Zahi. She reminded herself to avoid the barracks after this. There would probably be some kind of argument going on from what she'd seen of the couple. The otter thought of saying something to reprimand Raiden, but decided it would be better to stay out of things and just enjoy the comedy*
*The ottermaid had just stuffed two candied chestnuts into her mouth when a new face turned to her*
