Hmmmmmm... Lots I guess. That jar on that rack is about two third's full with nails, but I can get a few dozen made up in about three hours.
**Horus passed Song the jar from the rack with the nails in.

*The hare entered the shop, holding an empty scabbard.* Hello, Horus! I have an empty scabbard, and could use a sword. By the looks of it, its a rapier. So can you make me a steel rapier with a basket hilt? Sorry for the intrusion.

's not like I haven't got anything else to do. I'll have to get round to it Rina. I've a large order of nails to fill, so I'll probably get it done in the morining. 'key?
**Horus got a piece of parchment out from the counter, along with a charcoal stick.**
Can you draw me a picture of what you want it to look like? I don't want to make it, and it turn out wrong.
OOC: Jusy post a discription of it. No need to make a real picture.

A long steel rapier, with golden streaks up the side. It had a golden basket hilt with a red pommel stone. It was long but curved just a tad, and the sheathe was dark brown. It had a red inscription the sheathe that said "R.W." Thats all. Is that good enough, Horus?

Yeah, but like I said, I've got this prior order of nails to do, so I'll have to put this blade on the waiting list.

It'd be quicker, but I'm being bombarded by questions. Rina, when I make a batch, can you wrap some thick twine around them?
**Horus's voice called from over by the metal bars pile. Looking about him, Horus found a dozen bars of iron. Against the wall was a mold for nails.**
I guess this is where the original nails were made.

OOC: Sorry about the wait everyone, I just kept on forgeting to post... Ehehehehehehe... ^_^""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
BIC: **Horus had been looking for a few large lumps of steel in the pile of assorted metals by the forge. Finding only two lumps that he thought were large enougth he picked them out ant set them on the edge of the forge.**
Now... How to go about this... Ah! This should help a lot...
**Picking up a battered urn made from steel, he set a lump inside it and placed it on the forge.**
If I'm right, the steel will melt in the urn, and once the tap's turned, the moltel steel will flow down this track into the mold for the nails... Wait a minute... What track? Never mind... Here it is.
**Picking up the hollow half-circle of metal, the wolf set it under the tap on the urn, and against the entry point to the mold. Going over to the bellows, he pumped them vigerously to increase the tempereture. Leaving the bellows for a moment, he jammed the door open , along with the remaining windows.**
That'll stop us from over-heating eh?
**Glancing into the urn, he gripped the tap.**
Here comes the first batch!
**He opened the tap fully and let a stream of molten metal into the mold. Quickly shuting of the tap after a few second, he let the metal three-quarter fill the mold before he placed the top half onto the base. Sealing it shut with the claps on the top, Horus also closed the lid of the mold.**
That'll take a small length of time to cool... While we wait, I can board up the broken window. It's close to the anvil for safty.
**Taking some loose wooden boards, the blacksmith held the boards in place with one paw while he used some lose nails from the top of the nearest shelf to fasten the boards in place with his hammer.**
That's done... Now I can check on the nail batch.
**Opening the mold, Horus eyed the finished batch carefully. Picking up the long bars of steel that were trapped when the top of the mold was set to form the nails, he bent them round and pladed them back in the urn.**
Waste not, want not I suppose.
**Lifting the nails from the mold, he placed them on the counter.**
Rina, you're up!
