The raccoon counted the steps she took around the fallen leaves that have been there since autumn season. She's been walking around the woods for awhile now, and she's doesn't know where she is. Amira is confused, she wants someone to latch onto. Someone to tell her she'll be fine. She starts running, running to nowhere.
Eventually, Amira runs out of breath. She looks around her, blankly; lost in her own thoughts. She walks forward, through the trees thinning out to form a path. Confused, she pushes the dirt at her feet around in a circular way. She looks to the left, and then to the right. Amira noticed a huge gate flanked by stone walls. Feeling intimidated by the sheer height of the wall, she wraps her ocean blue cloak around her small gray body.
Amira finally gains the courage to approach the gate. She looks to the left, and to the right of herself again. The raccon gets the sudden feeling she's being watched. Amira pulls her cloak around her tighter with every step she takes to the gate.
After taking every step towards the gate, she's in front of it with her tail between her legs, and sweaty paws. Amira Emberlyn is face-to-stone with the wall. She slowy makes her way over to the gate, and then places her left paw against it softly...

ooc; Hm. Not bad. I think you'll get better as you go. You want me to give you tips out of character? Oh, by the way, most RP's are done in past tense, so sorry if I randomly switches tenses.
Dusk. Another day was starting to die, and a delicate night was coming to replace it. The sun was just above the line of trees, turning into a pumpkin-like shade of orange. Around it, clouds were stained different pinks, purples, and rust colored. As the eye traveled upward, the sky viably darkened, tiny points of light dotting a path to nowhere. the moon was only starting to glow. The msot beautiful time of day.
A lone guard stands on the parapet, long hair licked gently by occasional breezes. Her bright green eyes reflect the sunset, the colors and shapes distorted by the curving shape. Her face is narrow and sharp, as is the rest of her. The vixen shifts her paws, and in turn moves her entire body as she leans against the wall. The badge over her heart gleams, and she sighs heavily and shifts a tiny bit again. It was the War Commander badge, and held two golden stripes, proving she had previously been a simple warrior. The gold blended well with the deep blue of her dress, but clashed a bit with the pale lavender of her belt. the black boots encasing her feet are scuffed and worn, and her eyes have circles under them.
Crystal sighs again, and shifts once more, extremely uncomfortable. Her crippled leg throbs, and the cold of early spring nights makes it worse. However, she refuses to show weakness, sticking hard to the job handed to her. She scratches absently at the old bandages on her arms, seeking something familiar, and then touches the hilt of her broadsword, at her hip. Her claws tap the ruby pommel, and quickly move away. She begins to fold her paws over her chest when something catches her eye.
A being bursts from the tree line, panting. She looks about nervously, and then walks to the door, obviously terrified. Crystal silently takes his as her cue and prowls softly to the part of the parapet directly over the gate. Times are now hard, and she will not have those under her command harmed. However, this might be a simple civilian needing help. She clears her throat quietly, and then leans forward, carefully, over the edge. She calls down calmly, forcing a friendliness into her voice, "Hold fast there.
"I have not seen you here before. Do you seek council from the Guardians? We are the protectors of this area. I am one of their commanders. I will gladly let you in," she says, still calm but loud enough to be heard, "if you tell me your name and why you're here. If you need shelter, food, or healing, we would be glad to help."

Amira stared at her paw, pressed against the gate.
"Hold fast there."
The voice brought her out of her daze, and made her jump about half her height. She looked up, after gaining her balance back. The gray raccoon saw a white fox looking down at her. "She seems friendly enough..." Amira thought to herself as she stared back up at the fox.
"I have not seen you here before. Do you seek council from the Guardians? We are the protectors of this area. I am one of their commanders. I will gladly let you in. If you tell me your name and why you're here. If you need shelter, food, or healing, we would be glad to help." The snow white fox stated coolly.
Amira Frostt was at a slight loss for words. Taken back from being alone in the woods, to being spoken to so suddenly. The small raccoon mustered up the courage to speak up.
"My name is Amira. Amira Frostt," she spoke in a small voice, hoping that she would be heard. "I'm not sure why I'm here. I was running through the woods, and ended up here." She paused, then shifted nervously. "Food would be nice, if that's not any trouble. I haven't ate in awhile."

Crystal strained her ears, peering down at the strange creature. When her fortress had been attacked, she knew exactly what those creatures were called. however, this one had her a bit confused. She had seen the creature in a book, but had never seen one with her own eyes. The fox's auds twisted forward visibly at what would probably be an uncomfortable angle, but she didn't mind.
"My name is Amira. Amira Frostt. I'm not sure why I'm here. I was running through the woods, and ended up here. Food would be nice, if that's not any trouble. I haven't ate in awhile." the tiny creature said. Crystal suddenly seemed to realize how thin she looked as she pulled her cloak around her. Do I look like that...?
"That's fine, hun," she said in what was the most cheerful voice she'd used in a while. The vixen smiled down at her, and held up a paw. "I'll be down in a moment." She backed away from the wall slowly, turning sharply on her toes to face the stairs. She took them carefully, as forced to by her bad leg. Her boots made dull thumps on the stone, worn down by the years of use and weather.
The vixen turned again and took a few more steps, standing on the other side of the gate. "Stand back!" She said the words a bit sharper than she intended, the cool command holding force behind it, as if her will was enough to buckle the others'. She slipped the sword and scabbard out of her belt to rid herself of the weight, and the resistance to bending her legs, putting it on the grass carefully. She puts both forepaws on the underside of the heavy bar of the door, and takes in a breath sharply. With a grunt of effort, Crystal heaves the iron bar out of it's place in the stone frame, and lowering it. Spike on the door itself make sure it doesn't fall to the ground. Her crippled leg now trembling a bit, she picks up the sword again by the scabbard, replacing it carefully into her belt. Another noise forces itself past her lips as she takes the handle and pulls, the muscles in her arms budging as she swings the huge gate open.
On the other side stands Amira Frostt. Crystal takes a step forward, one paw on the sword at her hip, the other outstreched for the unknown creature to shake. She clears her throat before speaking.
"This is the fortress of the Guardians of Mossflower," she said with gushing pride, looking tiny in the slit of the large door. "the Guardians are a group of beings out to do good for a world on bad times, defend those who need it. We take an oath to protect the weak, heal the hurt and sick, and rid these lands of any that threaten the peace here." She said this with a quiet but obvious oath. It was clear she was not trying to lie to Amira. "I am Crystal Rosepaw. I'm one of two War Commanders here, which is who controls the entire army. Or, rather, the remains of an army."
