((I've decided to come back adn roleplay here , so here's a thread. Unfortunately, its short because I'm doing fifty things at once. Anyway, if someone could fill me in with what's going on around here, I'd appreciate it. : ) ))
Kaden slumped onto a seat almost lifelessly. His silver blue eyes glaring a hate towards the bartender. " Gimme the strongest stuff yah got..." He muttered to him demandingly.
The bartender was confused, but nodded. He then slid the glass to Kaden, who drank it as if it was nothing. All he muttered was more, and that went on for about an hour or so.

**Songwind had walked into the bar, looking for a small cordial. She saw someone drinking themselves away. She rushed over, padding on soft foot-paws.** What happened?
**Song knew something was up, she had almost done this to herself before.**

The golden furred weasel smirked. Some creatures just didn't mind their own business. The young fallen warrior stood up, the drinking didn't seem to phase him, since it wasn't thef rist time he drank so heavily, which of course, is never a good sign. He looked the squirrel up and down. He had talked to her briefly once before, but couldn't remember her name it had been so long. He scowled.
" Wot's it to you 'uh?"

**Song sighed. She was always like this, and seeing some one else in pain made her remember her own. KAden was young still, older than herself, but still young. The pretty squirrelmaiden shook her head sadly as she tried to figure out what to say.** I'm Songwind, And it matters because, well... Er.... Don't you know what you're doing to yourself?

Kaden smirked and began to fully button his jacket for the first time. For some reason he felt cold. He growled in his mind. That's right! Songwind was her name. Pretty name for a pretty squirrel, is the way I should remember it...
He sighed and looked around, until his lost orbs focused on her eyes. " Yeah, I'm trying to get rid of the nightmares that haunt me day to day..."

Nightmares eh? I've had plenty of them... I don't mean from war-zone either. I'm not proud of myself for what I've done. I see them every night, and they ask me why I did I do it? ZIdane and Sunfire were a deep part of me when they were alive, but now they died, I can't get a good rest... Song, you remember my little brother and sister don't you?
**Sitting at the corner of the bar, an un-armoured Raiden sat with a tankard full of ale in front of him.**

**The purple-clad lass nodded at Raiden's remark. She shivered slightly, and sat down beside the two stricken beasts. She had gone through the same periods. When Brawn seemed to be always away, she got herself drunk, but then remembered that he still loved her, no matter how harsh. She pitied Raiden, for he had been cursed since birth, and could say nought.
The Kaden beast interested her. She sensed that something was amiss, as she felt the warmth in the chamber and he pulled his coat closer. Song felt his misty eyes focus on her intently. She turned away from Raiden, and back to him.**
What kind of Nightmares, Friend?

Kaden scowled to himself. He picked up another glass and found himself drinking it. It was followed by him wiping his mouth in distaste. " The kind o' nightmares, that never leave...The kind that let's you know, it was a former reality. " He said in a metaphoric tone. He golden weasel then sighed, looking away from Song. He felt so weak.
" The kind that...make you feel as if everything was your fault, and that you truly are alone and worthless..." He said softly, his eyes locked on his hand, which was clenching a glass tightly.

*Just as the weasel finished explaining his nightmares to Song, a voice came from right beside them.* 'Tain' no business o' mine, matey. Bu' while those dreams 'r 'ar' te cope wi', I don' sugges' ye be lookin' a' a tankar' o' drin' te be sol'in' yer pro'lems. 'Tain' a good way o' dealin' wi' pro'lems. *Sitting down beside them, a sea rat clothed predominantly in a trench coat smiled kindly. Taking off his tricot hat, he looked to the bartender and asked for some water. Looking back to them, he introduced himself.* 'M apolo'ies. 'M Scratchfur, 'n 'm new te 'ere'bouts.

**Song waved a paw at Scratchfur. **Hi. **She set a paw on top of Kaden's, staying him slightly. with the other she motioned to The rat. **Could you get the bottle from my healers pack? I think our friend here might need it. **The squirrel maid's gentle brown eyes stared beseechingly at Kaden. She felt herself shiver again, a strange feeling coming over her. She could still feel the burning pain as she was denied the right to follow her brothers...She wanted to go... She left, killed a living creature on the feild... **Come on, Scratch is right. You really don't want to make things harder by drinking, do you?

Kaden scoffed at what the rat said in disgust, practically ignoring him. The golden weasel then jumped slightly, in reaction to Song putting her paw on his. Odd, its like she knew he was going to get up. Though, due to her paw softly resting on his, he found himself planted on his seat. As Song spoke, he found himself hiding behind his long bangs, making sure they made his intrigueing eyes barely visible. " What bottle? 'n...no I don't....but drinks, are the only thing I've 'ad to keep myself company..." He explained solemnly. He began to think of his deceased twin brother, his parents that died from illness, and his 'love' that left him...

**Song's gentle eyes stared at Kaden, and she smiled softly. The squirrel knew that pain had been with the weasel.** I know , it hurts... I've had the same... You wanna talk?

Kaden frowned, still not looking at Song. He shook his head slightly, before finally sighing. She probably wouldn't give in unless he talked. He looked at her, spreading his bangs just enough so that his eyes were visible enough, showing the lostness in his stare. " S-sure Song..." He said. He remembered their first talk. He said he'd lost someone, but not who, and how many things he lost, while she mentioned her siblings. He looked at the bar and then back at Song, softly.

He paused, hesitant at first, kind of lost in the squirrel's gentle eyes briefly before shaking his head. Didn't she have a husband or something? He then scratched his neck and sighed banishing those odd thoughts from his mind. " N-no...I'l ltalk first...last time, you did all the talkin', remembah?" He said, with a slight smile for once. It then lead to a frown. " Where do I begin...I grew up very far from 'ere. I had a twin brother, Duro, who looked jus' like me, save for silver fur and different hair...he always was the, ' I gotta look good fer the lasses' type o' guy, so his hair remained-anyway, that's off topic..." Kaden explained nervously. He then swallowed hard. " Anyway, at a young age, we lost our parents to illness, as well as half our village." He said quickly, pausing to keep himself steady, and strong. " 'n then...things only got worse..."
