OOC: So I figure Song is about eighteen, nineteen seasons now, and her life is about to have a very interesting twist. A baby. At Redwall, her problem is getting there. Its a very long journey for a pregnent medic and a warrior. But Don't worry, she's still in the first stages, and still active. I know this is awkward, but, TOO BAD! IF you want to join, well, YEah.
BIC: **Brawn looked out over the long and winding path. Song had told him a month before that she had decided to go to Redwall to have their child. Brawn thought that had sounded sensible. But that was before he had looked at a map. Now he regretted agreeing. Alot.
This was the day before the trip, and he was out gathering more food. Three bags where full of the couples possessions. At first, Song had been reasonable, insisting that his parents would like to see him, and maybe meet her. The squirrel warrior had thought this great, and agreed. HE regretted that too, still holding a grudge against his father.
Brawn looked at his basket. Full. Good thing. Waddling slowly back to the fort, and dropping a few things, he called to his wife.** Song! I got the food, and I also got the herbs you asked for. IS that everything?
**Song was nervous, very nervous. This trip was taking everything out of her, and she was still worried about work at the fort. Although she knew she wasn't leaving anyone in danger of death, or anyone sick, she still felt bad about it. She also knew that she wasn't the only healer at the fort, but that didn't matter.
Song looked up from where she had been sitting organizing her belongings. Seeing her husband, and hearing his message she smiled and stood, feeling the warm gritty sand beneath her paws. walking over to him, she enjoyed the breeze and the tranquility of the warrior's haven.
The healer stood beside Brawn, walking next to him on there way back. Chattering wasn't normally an activity she was involved in, but it was today.** Well, lets see, I got St. Johns wort, spiderwebs, Dockleaves, yarrow, and a few other odds and ends, Clothing, lets see, I have your vest, a tunic or two for you, and pants. For me I have-
**Brawn cut her off, grinning like a demented frog, and almost dropping the basket. The expectant father suddenly thought of something the couple had been forgetting all along. HE stopped her contented stroll and turned to face Songwind. ** You did forget something, Who is accompanying us? Surely you don't think we're going alone?
**Song smacked a paw to her head and sighed snappishly. She glanced around their home, and then looked up.** WHo would come? No one knows. Yet.
OOC: THEN you come in.
