*It was a cold winter day, with a soft drizzling rain and a harsh wind upon the Docks, another vermin inhabited area on the Western Settlement. There were wooden docks, obviously, and whole line of different ships. Vermin strode the streets, stood on the ships, occasionally fighting, and even the rare purchase of a sea vessel. One thing, or beast, sparked their interest. A hare, or goodbeast, strolled among them, a heavy cloak, which was a strange attire for the earle dawn morning. Underneath was a belt, with a scimitar tucked in a sheathe. Strapped around the hare's back was another back sheathe with a stiletto in it. Weasels, ferrets, rats, and stoats looked upon him menacingly, but this hare could not be pushed around. It was Rinafera Woxwitty III. He continued down the narrow are between the little shops and the docks. A stoat was standing behind a wooden shop that said 'Vinty's Vessels' and it made Rinafera curious.
He strode up, his dark eyes meeting the on looking gaze of the fat stoat. Rinafera noticed a cutlass clenched in Vinty's paws, and smiled briefly. Behind him, there was a ruckus. Vermin were yelling insults at the hare, and one courageous rat picked up a stone. Rinafera whipped around, looking at the three. He walked up to the shorter fellows, one eye twitching and the other glaring with hatred. The rat dropped the stone and backed away, but the two stoats stood firm, one wielding a cutlass and the other an axe. Rinafera spat on the gound in front of them, and gazed very menacingly. He was a goodbeast, but somethings set his rage ablaze. The hare put a paw on the scimitar.*
Look, flippin' blighters and vile scum that should have never been put on land, if you hate, wot are you waiting for?
*He put arms out stretched wide, as if he was asking for an attack. The stoats were no fools, which was what the hare expected. They both got ready to strike, when Rinafera hit them both with flat paws on the forehead. The blow knocked them off the path and down a little drop to the wooden docks. All vermin were aroused. A hare walked into their territory, acting like a king, and then pushed two of their shipmates off a drop and onto a wooden dock. They turned to look at him, and a few growls were jabbed at him. Before a fox with a spear approached, Rinafera bellowed.*
Guardians around the area! Attack! Help!
*He unsheathed the scimitar, and growled viciously. He turned around many times slowly, waiting for one to come near him and attack. The spearbeast came, and before Rinafera had time to think he was on the ground with a bruise from the butt of the spear of the red fox. The jumped up and charged, waving the sword wildly. He struck the fox on the shoulder with a devestating strike. That started the battle.*

* Kryshana watched from the side of the tavern that she was leaning on. She wasnt' exactly going to participate... but she wasn't going to help the beast either. It was his own fault for stepping in here like that. But still The vermin inside her thought. It does look fun... And for further reason, it was that hare from the tavern who was making lots of vermin comments. He did deserve it.
But what if that Darter fellow dosn't take you aboard ship because you attacked one of his Guardians, then what? The goodbeast of her said. You see, every beast has good and bad beasts in them, it just depends on who they listen too. Kryshana was a bit different though. She liked to stay in between. Perhaps she could make them stop. Or perhaps... She thought, edging towards the tavern door. I could just pretend I was never here.*

*Sandegar quietly walked through the streets, the voluminous folds of his black cloak swirling around his ankles. His tall black boots thumped against the cobblestones with each heavy footfall, the sound echoing vaguely in the alley. The tall hare rolled his eyes as the sound of a brawl reached his floppy ears, biting his lip with annoyance. Why did someone always have to act high in neutral territory? He was all for a good friendly spar, yet the idea of deliberately insulting the corsairs repulsed him. He was an unusual hare, alright. Perhaps it had been his recent victory over the famed corsair dingo Carrack. Shaking his head as if to rid himself of the pensive thoughts, he growled and picked up his pace.
As he exited the dark street, Sandegar was dazzled by the sunlight. He leaned back against a wall, casually examining the situation. It was, after all, a Guardian. Rinafera Woxwitty, in fact. The lieutenant shook his head with aggravation, his paws curling into fists. Later he could knock some sense into the private, but right now he had a duty to perform as an officer of the Guardians of Mossflower. He reached for his sword, then remembered that he had left it with his longbow at his lodging, not expecting to need it. Grumbling, he slipped a combat knife from both his sleeves, gripping the wooden handles adeptly. Recalling his lessons with a certain friend, he tossed them up and snatched them out of the air before diving into the fray.
Frowning, the tall hare slashed at a hulking fox, dodging as a cutlass came swishing down, cutting lightly into his shoulder. Muttering a curse, Sandegar kicked out at the fox before turning with a spin on his heel. Facing a nimble weasel, he punched the mustelid's stomach, pulling his fist up so the blade of his knife slashed his opponents stomach, wincing as a rat bit his forearm. Cursing the speed of the melee, he headbutted a snarling marten in the chest and simultaneously punched him in the stomach. Elbowing some sort of ferret out of the way, he joined Rinafera in the centre of the hassle, snarling with impatience. Stabbing a screeching rat with a knife, he stumbled over a ridge in the cobblestones. Picking himself up in time to avoid a cutlass slash, he backed himself up against the other hare.*
What didja do here, Private Woxwitty? Provoke 'em, didja? Get ready to run, Private.
OOC: Argh, it sucks. Still, I've no time to edit this thing.

*The fox retalliated horribly, scowling and charging at the hare. Rinafera breathed slowly in frustration, and lifted the scimitar to parry the blow. He spun, and swung the sword down low. The hare was tired, and a bit aggrivated, and knew he was a dead beast. A weasel came at him once more, and Rinafera put up hind legs to the outstretched arms of the weasel and struck him in the stomach. He turned swiftly, thoughts racing through his mind. The sun was beating down on the Docks, and the hare was the center of attention with the vermin. He knew he was stupid, and should not have done what he did. But life is to short to be living with regrets.
A fox came running over, bending down. Suddenly, out of no where came a hare who leaped into the brawl and took the fox down. Rinafera barely noticed the hare at first, and then distinctly remembered. It was Lieutenant Sandegar, a most proclaimed fighter. The hare deeply respected his surperior, and knew they were too of the few hare Guardians. Mostly otters and mice ran the fort. Well, Sandegar had come to his rescue. Rinafera parried a blow from a stoat and stabbed him in the stomach, then turned and slashed a rat in the face. That would do damage. A large fox came up from behind, and jabbed him a bit with a spear butt, and then Rinafera ducked. He performed the old duck and weave, but backwards. He ducked, got up while turning and getting slightly under the fox's arm and stabbed him. The hare was then thrust off balance by a ferret and found himself back to back with his officer.
What didja do here, Private Woxwitty? Provoke 'em, didja? Get ready to run, Private.
Rinafera heard the words loud and clear, and would have answered his surperior right away but a stoat was after him with a cutlass. The hare lifted up the sword, clashing with the stoat. He jumped away from the stoat and the other hare hare so he could turn and stab the stoat from behind. He did, but it was a risk thrusting a sword near Sandegar. When did Rinafera ever stay level-headed and fight smart? After the hare had stabbed another rat, he backed up near Sandegar.*
Well, Lieutenant, y'see, they were about to throw rocks at me. I'm sorry, sir, Liuetenant, sir.
*The hare continued battling his way. He rememmbered the words 'get ready to run,' and was ready. He awaited his officer to give the order.*

**Kryshana was not the only one to sight the hare. A squirrelmaid made her presence as well. The squirrel, however, chose to help. Looking to her dagger, she began to swing the odd weapon on a rope. Battling her way through, the pretty squirrel healer frowned at Rin, think to say something, but swallowing the words. Looking around for the blood of Guardians, checking to see if her healing skills were needed, she yelled.** Are you Hurt Rina?
