OOC: Basically, we just had a massive battle with the troops of a vermin General named Kringo. We defeated them, and now they are fleeing to to their fleet to re-route to the other side of the coast and get reinforcments.
BIC:
*Rinafera ran fast, his paws carrying him far. The vermin were going fast, obviously humiliated from their defeat. The hare was not in the mood nor position for another battle, but he followed his officer's orders. Wishing he had stayed behind with the wounded, he had only regrets.
The hare accepted his fate and continued forward, wanting to slay the vermin. It was a landslide victory, but a few of his comrades did fall in battle. The companions to his side were like brothers under the oath of serving the Guardians and Mossflower faithfully. The vermin were almost to the coast, and they were slipping away fast.*
EDIT: OOC: Sorry for the short post, its late.

Post by Auburn, Lady Amber, and Saneth on Apr 21, 2007 22:03:16 GMT -5
*Auburn huffed slightly under the extra burden of her sword and medic bag. The mousemaiden raised a paw and impatiently brushed by the auburn fur falling into her chestnut eyes. Despite the fact the mouse was dressed lightly in a green tunic and matching leggings that blended into the leafy foliage of the woodlands, she was still weighed down by the pure silver sword in its plain, scarred scabard that hung from her waist by a thin, coarsely woven brown belt. The medic was sweating slightly, but she had refused to leave her own weapon behind. A precaution, she told herself, in case they need my poor fighting skills more than my healing prowess. Although Auburn could not spot the enemy as she slowly fell behind, she did not give up her relentless pursuit, following Rinafera, the hare in front of her. Abruptly, the churchmouse felt another beast pass her and she stifled back a gasp of shock as she realized it was Lady Amber. Biting back a caustic retort, the maiden hissed* What are you doing here?
*The reddish-orange squirrel grinned cheekily, easily matching her friend’s hurried pace.* To help of course! *She gestured to the quiver of ash arrows strapped securely to her back and waved her willow bow in the air.* See? *Not wishing to infuriate the mouse’s temper any further, Amber quickened her pace, racing to catch up to Rinafera. Her strides lengthed and the squireelmaiden, clothed in a soft leather tunic and leggings along with worn leather boots and wristguard, was quickly by the hare’s side, keeping pace* Are we catching up?
