Whoops! I totally didn't realize this had started. I'm sorry! *scurries off to find poem* I'll edit this when I find a good one in my pile of poetry.
EDIT: Agh, I had the hardest possible time trying to decide which poem to use. >> In the end, though, my angsty side won out. ^^
EDIT 2:...Strike that. I changed my mind. >< Man, this is tough.
Well, I'll stick with this one. I actually did dream this (or something very similar to this)...
A True Warrior
When once the pillow hit my head And into the land of dreams I wandered, I found a land where life was death And, curious, I pondered. Before me on the battle-plain Stood a valiant, brazen warrior, A figure clothed in gold and red; Interested, I drew closer. Then I saw, to my dismay, The soldier cold and wounded. Fighting legions of enemies, The warrior was surrounded! I watched in awe as on she fought, Surrounded and wounded sore; And I questioned myself, in my heart, Why she still fought more. Why not give in, give up, give out? Why not lay her life down? For noble her actions seemed to me, Enough to gain Heaven’s crown. The answer in a whispering wind I heard within my heart. "This daughter of mine, she will not give in-- No, not even in part. For ‘twas I that sent her, I that called Her to this battle, you see. And she knows that while breath still remains She owes her life and loyalty to Me." The vision faded from my mind And my thought moved to less curious things. That morn I awoke, this thought to find In my memory-- Only for a little time This world’s burden are we to bear. Eternity will be forever, So let us tarry here. Aye, when I end this sojourner’s roam Gladly will I go. But before I reach my final home, Let be said and known That I was a person who loved her God, Who followed her chosen path; I was a person who never gave in, Who fought with her very last breath!

Uh, yeah, too random. This is the poetry competition. That should be on the OOC Board. Can some delete it? *rolls eyes*
