OOC: Come here after you have reported to the Roll Call thread to train with your peers. Spars are welcome, but please remember to use padded and wooden weapons only. If you wish to train with your long range weapons, then please escort yourselves to the outside training sections. (RP walking outside and continue your posting there... If there tends to be more outside than inside trainers, I'll make another thread for it.) Also, there is a water station inside the training corridor that houses a large barrel of cold water. This is open to the public, but trainers must bring their own canteens. Sweat towels are also available to participating trainers, but must be placed in the "Used Linens" container after use. Also, please only use one towel per visit. Follow the basic rules of a fair spar, and try not to seriously injure yourself or your opponent. Remember, these are your comrades, just pretending to be your enemies. Okay. That's it. Enjoy!

No idea, but if we can use metal blades, I play to first blood, but I'm just as good with wooden blades.

**Rosemary strode into the room confidently. Casually observing the trainers in the room, she smiled and nodded approval.** Good, good, very good. Looks like we 'ave some stout, dedicated warriors trainin' with each other. **Sauntering over to the water station, the shrewlass unshouldered her canteen and plucked the stopper from its mouth. After carefully filling the container with the cool water, Rosie took a small swig of the refreshing liquid and re-corked the stopper.
As the warrior selected a linen towel, she overheard Shawn's query. Clearing her throat and turning to face the recruit, the shrew stated her answer simply.** Ahem.. Actually, laddie buck, only wooden or padded weapons are allowed, I'm 'fraid. T'is a wee bit too dangerous fer beasts of the same army ta be fightin' each other with the sharp blade. So, if ye can't find a wooden weapon to yer liking, ye'll have to dull and heavily pad yer own weapon. Although, mind ye, a padded weapon can be much bulkier than afore.. Jus' a tip.

Tritan walked over with his twin wooden swords at paw. This was different. The wooden swords were lighter than his normal weapons and the balance was different. He sighed. He'd have to get used to it. "Raiden Silversword, I challenge ye!"

The sturdy otter eyed Raiden calculatively. His longsword was held well, hmm, an experienced beast. Tritan decided to take him by surprise and performed a sideslash toward the warrior while keeping his other sword closeby in case of Raiden striking back at him.
