**Song's head spun and she stood carefully. She sat back down instantly, feeling the strange pain and dizziness. gotta....Help...Raiden.... I'm fine....I think....Water! Song felt an uncofortable pounding as she walked over to a table and grabbed a jug. Water. What a lovely idea. Song chugged it entergentically. noticing a breif respite from pain. SHe stopped and looked around, still feeling pain.** I....I'm F-f-fine. I think. Rai, don't talk to much. Thanks Tasna.
**Song walked over to Zahi, a supeior air about her, one she was learning to adopt, a calm cool, co0ncentrated beam of energy and kindness, when healing. Suddenly, the squirrelmaiden stopped, her head spinning. She bit her lip as she walked on, trying to show a confident outlook to the injured beasts.
The healer looked at Zahi, and bit her lip harder. This wasn't going to be easy. she patched up the wound best sshe could, and then waited for Zahi to wake up, so she could finish. While wwaiting, she turned to Raiden.**DId I leave the back of the arrow in?

*Tasna looked up, thinking that Song was referring to her. Seeing that her friend was speaking to Raiden, she look towards her shoulder where she was hit earlier. The otter sighed and stared back down at her paws* Everyone's hurting in some way or another. *She clenched her paws into fists* Why didn't I become a medic? Why? I should have known that I would need the skill now. Too bad I can't predict the future. Now that would be handy.

**Song looked at TAsna, her face calm and gentle. The otter didn't look to happy. She walked away from Raiden. ** I'll be right back. TAsna, Whats wrong? Will you talk to me? **Song realized for the first time how old she had gotten. She was almost seventeen, and yet still a most prominent healer, with alot of beasts depending on her. Idon't think I wanna be abbess now.**

*Tasna shook her head. She couldn't bear Song to see the weak expression she had on her face* I can't talk. Song has a home she can go back to anytime. I don't have anything. What if something happens to this place that I've depended on? What if I lose all the friends I've learned to trust and care for? I can't afford to make any mistakes.
*The otter tried hard to hold back tears. She hadn't cried since she came to Guardians of Mossflower. She coughed and let the first tears spill down her cheeks* Please don't notice Song. I'll never live it down. *Tasna groaned, and to avoid attention, lied down on the bed she was sitting on and slammed her head facefirst into the pillow. The tears soaked into the pillow, making her face wet and uncomfortable for her. Tasna didn't care, as long as she didn't have to face her friends like this*
*After a few seconds, she wiped her eyes and flipped the pillow over. Once again, she slammed her face into it* I thought i didn't cry anymore. Was I ever wrong.

I'd follow you Song, but well... I can't get up... Wait a moment... I can move my arms, and can feel no arrow at the back... It must've come off during the trip here. Makes it easier to remove now I guess... Enought about me, my hurts and I... Is Zahi going to be okey?
**Moving his right arm at the elbow towards his chest slightly, Raiden gripped the barbed arrow shaft and pulled slightly. Almost imediatly, he let go in pain.**
Not such a good idea then... Ouchie...
OOC: I know it's short, but Raiden can't really do much lieing down can he?

*Tasna heard Raiden yell of pain, but she didn't want to move. Not until she was sure that she wouldn't burst out crying in front of them. Instead, she just whispered to herself*
I should be stronger than this. Why can't I think straight? Maybe there's too much pain around me. No, I've been around more pain than this before.
*Tasna gave her eyes a final wiping with her paw and sat up. She stared at the far wall, still not wanting anyone to notice her. Tasna never liked being the center of attention when she was a dibbun, and she still doesn't now* I guess somethings never change.
OOC: Sorry about the short post

**Song turned slowly from Tasna to attend to Raiden, but not before, fondly carressing the otters head, just like a mother would. Someday Song would be a mother, soon, she hoped.
Tearing herself away from happier thoughts, she went to The mouse warrior. A nervous look threatened her as she tried to stay calm and collected while walking over to the mouse. One Beam of calm, cool, energy. Calm, collected. The squirrel sucked in air, breathing slowly.
Shhe stood before the mouses, bed, her head pounding, and still feeling dizzy. Gently but firmly, she pushed Raiden's paw away, and bent down to a kneeling position, grabbing a handful of sorrel and dockleaves. ** Rai, stay still, this one will hurt.
**Song grabbed the aroow head with her long sharp claws, and pulled hard, quick, and straight up. This would hurt. She stuffed the wound with different herbs and laced the thing with Dock leaves. **

That... was nasty... It's going to leave a mark in the morning I guess too...
**Slowly, Raiden felt something in his leg twiching. With a sigh of relief, Raiden felt the feeling come back into his legs.**
I guess I had a trapped nerve or two under that arrow... At least I'll be able to stand up in a few hours eh Song? There shouldn't be any permanent damge should there?

Nope. But its my turn to tell you to rest. **Song smiled softly, her gentle features bestowing a comforting look on her mouse friend. She looked over at Zahi nervously, but said nothing aloud about her feelings. **

Like I said, "a few hours". I didn't mean right away... If I tried to stand, I'd fall over most likely. Anyway, you're hiding something from me Song, you're acting like you sat on a knife and don't want to talk about it. If you don't want me to pull rank, I sugest you tell me. And I mean right now.
**Raiden's face lost it's jokeing look, to be replaced by one that was deathly serious.** I'm not joking Song, tell me now.

**The feisty Squirrel glared dagger at Raiden. Gritting her teeth, Song stared back At her superior officer, and stood up straighter.** Rai, I only lie when Its for my patients good. I would only lie to you about anyone else when you are critical. So Guess what? Zahi is fine. Or will be. Soon. I- I-....
**Song put her head in her paws and sat down slowly. **

*Tasna had been half listening to their conversation*
So Guess what? Zahi is fine. Or will be. Soon. I- I-.... *The otter jerked her head in Song's direction as the squirrel sat down. Tasna shot up and hurried over to her friend. She crouched down so that they were face to face and put her paws on Song's arms, gripping her lightly* Song! Stop pretending. You must tell us what is wrong. We know something is troubling you. Their is no excuse for lying. It's not like we will all die if you tell us what the matter is. *Her eyes contained fear, for she was afraid for Song's well being*

**Song looked at tasna, and suddenly had a stupid thought. Why did that always happen in drastic situations? She had thought of her love for drama. Sighing slightly, she looked up at Tasna.** I-I'm fine. I'm sure.

*Letting go of Song, Tasna frowned and crossed her forepaws* You know that I know you better than that Song. I'm not giving up. You can't make me. Tell me what is wrong and it will save everyone a lot of grief. *The otter glanced over toward Raiden* No one can recover properly if they have an annoying gut feeling that something is bothering one of their friends.
Song, I'm going to ask you again. *Tasna stared hard into her friend's eyes* Please tell us what...is...wrong. I'm not going to let up. We need to know...before it's too late to find out*

**Song sighed, and swallowed, Brawn would have known that she was about to lie, but no one else did. The vivacious squirrelmaid looked blankly into Tasna's eyes.** I'm just tired. '
